We are ’the 5 Cokes’ (Terry and Christina Cokenour – plus our three kiddos). We are serving in Budapest, Hungary to help establish new Hungarian churches. From 1999-2011 we were part of church planting efforts in Houston, TX. Terry is a graduate of the College of Biblical Studies and Western Seminary. Christina is an ethnic Hungarian, the first generation of her family born in the United States. Her mother and grandmother emigrated to the US from Hungary, fleeing communist oppression and the violence of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
We’re partnering with WorldVenture, an agency who specializes in care for long-term field workers. Our financial support comes from individuals and churches who share our passion for gospel ministry in Hungary.
We are not lone rangers. Much of what we do, and who we are, is because of people God has used to help us along the way. Here are some thoughts from just a few of them.
